I have one through four and now I see a fifth one is on the horizon. Anyone know how many there are going to be total?

I read those back in the 80s.

I've read some of them. I'm going to read them again. :)

I tried with the first trade collection... It didn't work out.

I don't know if I'd say that... Maybe just a little too silly or something. Couldn't hold my attention. My inner 14 year old wasn't showing up
for that party.

But yours might. I think I have to really be in exactly the right mood for stuff like that to work for me at this point.

It looks as though I must ride this path alone.

I don't think you're alone. I mean, I'm still fond of that stuff even if it doesn't work for me at this point, know what I mean?

You're not alone in this, Dave. Funny this should come up, considering I purchased a copy of the first TPB about an hour and a half ago.

Comic books weren't a really big thing for me when I was a kid, with one notable exception: Savage Sword of Conan. I didn't have a lot of
them, but they were fun. Needless to say, I started feeling kind of nostalgic reading them again.

I had more of the color comic methinks, but I had a few Savage Swords too. Am I right in thinking that SS was more of an "adult" comic?

Yes, you are correct about the B&W comics having more "adult" content.. The colour ones never caught my interest for that very reason.

Again, sweet. I'm in the mood for this.

Weren't the colour ones Marvel comics?

Yep. I liked their Tarzan series too. I think that ran in the late '70s.

The '70s produced some comic book gems. They make for a good change of pace from the more "in your face" stuff I usually gravitate to. I have a
couple of the Tomb of Dracula TPBs and they have been fun.
